Private Jack Watson is the twenty-one-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Watson, of 36, Longwood Gate, Longwood. He was serving with the 2/7th Battalion Duke of Wellington’s Regt. and took part in the evacuation of St. Valery-en-Caux. He has been missing since June 11. He was educated at Marsden Council School and Royds Hall, and was a member of the Marsden M. I. Silver Prize Band and of the Marsden section of the St. John Ambulance Association.
