Interesting article I was there from 67 to 73 no mention of the new music teacher Bob Ward, he was like a hippy to start with butI kno most of us liked him, I learned to play the trumpet up in the attic of Royds House, the teacher was called Glenda cannot remember last name, Mr Foster (Metelwork) hardly had any windows left in the classroom, he had a habit of picking up the nearest object to throw at you. I was in the Rugby team from the under 11s to the under 17s, we won the (Yorkshire) ? cup, at Leeds road playing fields. I know that we have lost (Jonny) Tony Johnson and Peter Brier, so perhaps there is more. Most of the staff treated the pupils fairly well, but one or two had a very short fuse, and could be intimidating to us youngsters. We had some non Uk born pupils mainly Poles one or two Indian a few Caribbean, we all seemed to get along. Too much to talk about so will sign off. Fred.
