Very Interesting article! William Rollin was my Great-Grandfather, he moved from Nottinghamshire to Huddersfield some time after the 1861 Census. I have been searching for more information about Barley Misery for some time, as he appears there on the 1871 Census. The references to stone masons are also interesting, as my Grandfather appears on the 1891 census in Hemsworth, and his occupation is given as stone mason.
