Very interesting information about photographer John Vincent Hatch.

Another famous person Vincent Hatch photographed was Henry Morton Stanley, the famous African explorer. A few photographs Vincent took are preserved at the National Archives, Kew, in the Stationer’s archive files, including two photographs of Stanley.

There is also a photograph of an arch erected in Huddersfield taken during the visit of The Duke & Duchess of Albany to Huddersfield- Imitation “Temple Bar” Arch dividing Chapel Hill & Buxton Rd 1883 Vincent Hatch Byram Arcade Huddersfield
