My great great grandfather John Hall (1847 – 95) was sub-postmaster at Golcar in the 1890s until he died and at that time the Post Office was at 32 James Street. Does anyone have any information and/or a photo?

His son Frank, my great grandfather, was born in 1872 when the family were living at Acre Top, Golcar. I’ve seen Acre House still exists but they’d have lived in small cottages I should think although the name suggests it would have been nearby. Does anyone have information or a photo of Acre Top?
