Hi Richie
Redbrook or Red Brook is shown on old O.S. maps as a rectangular structure just to the north of the listed ventilation shaft. It appears on maps up the 1950s and its footprint can be seen on some satellite views of the site.

The 1906 O.S. map shows it as 3 adjoining buildings which fits with theĀ 1841 Census that has James Pogson (labourer), Luke Carter (labourer) and Nathaniel Bottomly (publican) as the heads of the three households at Red Brook in the township of Marsden-in-Huddersfield.
The 1891 Census has a number of Welsh tunnel miners listed at Red Brook who were presumably working on the 3rd tunnel.
