When Thomas Taylor was born on February 24, 1879, in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England, his father, Robinson, was 37 and his mother, Emma, was 22. He married Charlotte Annie Pyrah on September 24, 1898, in his hometown. They had seven children in 17 years. My grandmother Alice was one of those children, and lived in the pub until the death of her father.
He died in October 1917 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England, at the age of 38.
