Private Harry Raby

Pte. Harry Raby, of the Pioneer Corps, who a short time ago was reported missing, is now found to be a prisoner of war in Germany. Twenty-four years of age, he is married. His home is at Spa Bottom, Lepton. He formerly worked for Messrs. Bentley Swifts, Kirkheaton. He was formerly a well-known pigeon fancier at Tandem.

Taken prisoner at St. Valery in 1940 and released by the Americans from a camp in Czechoslovakia. Pte. Harry Raby, whose wife lives at Greenland, Rowley Lane, Lepton, has now arrived home. Pte. Raby, who is the son of Mrs. Raby and the late Mr H. Raby, of Lascelles Hall, was formerly employed by Messrs. Bentley Swift Ltd., Kirkheaton.
