Private J. Lindsay

Private J. Lindsay, of the Gordon Highlanders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lindsay, of 3, Willow Lane, Huddersfield, is reported missing. Pte, Lindsay is the eldest son in a family of three sons and three daughters. He is twenty-two years of age, and has been in the Army since January 14. He was educated at Beaumont Street School and learned the trade of plasterer with Messrs. J. C. Winterbottom and Son, of Newsome. His father has been incapacitated for the past four years as the result of an accident. and is at present in Leeds Infirmary.

NEWS OF SOME MEN IN THE FORCES

Private Jack Lindsay

Pte. Jack Lindsay, of the Gordon Highlanders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walker Lindsay, of 3, Willow Lane, Huddersfield, is now reported to be a prisoner of war in Germany. He was earlier reported missing. He is the eldest son of a family of three sons and three daughters and is twenty-two years of age. Before joining the Army on January 14 he was a plasterer with Messrs. J. C. Winterbottom and Son, of Newsome. He was educated at Beaumont Street School. His father has been incapacitated for four years as the result of an accident, and is still in Leeds Infirmary. He broke his leg, and the fracture refuses to knit.
