re Woodfield Villa. I lived at Hassocks when i was small with my grandparents, I knew the lady from the villa, her name was Molly Boothroyd. She has now passed on. I tried to get in touch in recent years through notes passed into the letterbox. I don’t live in Honley but i used to call to see her, she loved animals. Can anyone remember her pet donkey. God bless Molly.
re Molly Boothroyd. She to my knowledge never had a family. She was never married, her brother George and his wife died before. She kept horses on her land. She died in the last three to four years, I did put messages to get in touch through letter box but never got a reply most disappointing. I met a lady who said she went into a home. I visited the grave stone in garden it gave no date. It is best to ask a neighbour. The house is boarded up but have seen a bike leaning on the wall outside house. It’s an enigma.
